What is a FHIR bundle?

A FHIR bundle (pronounced “fire bundle”) is simply a digital package containing copies of your medical information.

Think of it like an electronic folder that may include:

• Your medication
• Allergies
• Medical conditions
• Test results
• Immunizations
• Recent visits
• Doctors and care team
• Insurance information

The downloaded file may look like computer code or have a name ending in .json or .zip. That is normal. The formatting is standard, allowing the HealthScores.ai application to read and organize it for you. You will not need to do anything. It will be downloaded and stored on your personal Google Drive.

A few important tips

• Download it only to your own phone, tablet, or computer
• Do not change the file’s name or contents.
• Keep it private because it contains personal health information.
• Do not email it unless you trust the recipient and the email method is secure.
